About Symphony Dalmatians

*** 2023 UPDATE *** Cleo has now completed her Championship and Grand Championship in the Conformation Show ring!

She is also working with our daughter in Junior Showmanship.

My name is Michelle Potter. My husband and I have owned dalmatians since 2019, after a long search for the best breeder and puppy! My family in England owned dalmatians when I was growing up and I was always certain that one day, I would own my own spotty companion. Our darling ‘Cleo’ came in to our lives and is the foundation of Symphony Dalmatians. A year after welcoming Cleo into our home, we were fortunate enough to have Pierce join our family. He was from the same breeder as Cleo (our dear friend Chris Aranowski, of Soulryde Dalmatians, PA) and born just a few days after her! They are the best of friends and although Pierce will not be part of our breeding program, he is a much loved and adored member of the Symphony gang. Our dalmatians and puppies are raised in our home, in semi-rural Western New York (approx 25miles south east of Buffalo) with our children, guinea pig and chickens! We are incredibly active with our dogs, whether it be hikes around our property, in the show ring or other performance sports.

Showing Cleo in Conformation is something I had never intended to do. But after attending a few local shows, I thought I would give it a try. After lots of training and attending a few handling classes, her first show was at Tallmadge, Ohio in early January 2020… where she went winner’s bitch for a 3 point major! That was it. I was HOOKED! We attended a couple more shows before COVID sadly put a halt to everything. But we still practice regularly and cannot wait to get back in the show ring!

I am a member of the Greater Pittsburgh Dalmatian Club, The Dalmatian Club of the Finger Lakes and the Dalmatian Club of America.
